Dress Hack into a Jacket KnowMe 2007

If you read my previous post on KnowMe Pattern 2007, you know that I absolutely love it! I had this fabric left over from a dress I made some years ago and decided to make a jacket from what I has left of the material. This is the pattern that I just stopped in the middle to create a jacket. This fabric is a border print that required some creativity when cutting. I loved the fabric when I purchased it and knew that regardless of the project, I would not get a lot of use because of the cutting to make the previous dress.
I could really call this a no-waste make...lol
I chose a blue zipper in hopes that it would add a touch and it would stand out a little and I think I accomplished just that. No need to ask, I will make this again and again.
"The Dets"
This is a scuba fabric that I purchased from my fabric store in Philadelphia. It has a nice weight to it. You can see in my first make of the fabric...the weight makes for great statement sleeves.
